“We’re okay,” “homosexuality is natural,” you can shout your lung outs in vain. Until you educate our nation describing homosexuality, they won’t ever accept you. First you need to tell them the reason for why you seek equal status like heterosexuals. But then, although you can educate people to the extreme, your work will be undone in an instant, as soon as some important religious, uneducated leader tells them otherwise. Frankly, I reckon you should target these religious leaders first. (Target = educate.) I personally want every person of this country to feel equal. It can only be done if you educate masses about the natural homosexual behaviour. You need to get the figure of 77% down to about 30%. Only then you’ll live freely in this society. Hard task, I know. But you can’t just sit and cry in the corner.

And yet, it might make sense to sail while there's wind around. Now that people are sitting up and taking notice of the gay community and its rights, it's a platform to speak up for what else has been missing all this while. All the very best to you, Harish and may I say, what a great article!

Emotions very aptly put across. Superbly written. And yes, all these other things will come, but one by one. Hold your horses for now. Let them loose when the time is right. And for people who think differently or have difficulty accepting the LGBT community, let them be. I am sure they will come around. All the best. Cheers!
