a real intricate description of the himalayan country....

being a half nepalese, i cant jusss stop admiring the detailed description of the amazing country..

Trust me guys...therez enuff natural beauty lying in this tiny country to quench ur thirst for days altogether...rite frm its amazing mountain ranges, to the baudh(buddhist)places (lumbini included),the urban city life of kathmandu...the innumerable temples n sacred places (pashupati, manokaamna and many more)..the lake city of pokhra..the countless adventure-sports opportunities.

and the best thing we hv to cheer abt is its newly born gay-friendliness....an add-on package ;)

i just hope tht the political turmoil gets settled sooner, n the haapy old days be revived, so that we can, all of us, atleast once in our life-times come to terms wid our G-neighbour.

Some tiny bits that can be helpful:

*Indian citizens dunt require passports or visas for visiting Nepal.
*There sudnt be any language problem...becaz mostly everyone understands hindi in nepal.
*Though indian currency also works in nepal...it will be better if u get it converted into the nepalese currency at the currency converting kiosks/banks.
*Try to avoid indian Rs500 notes as much as possible....people are really really reluctant in accepting it ;)
*Rs100 INR = Rs 160 in the nepalese rupee.
*U can go by your own/hired vehicles from india as well....but the vehicles are charged smth around Rs250/day INR (not sure of the amt though :P )
