“I Am” actor Rahul Bose has said he’s “deeply disappointed” with the makers of the movie and alleged that pictures showing him in a gay kissing scene in the movie were deliberately used for publicity.
In a candid interview to Zoom TV, the actor alleged that the film makers were exploiting a sensitive subject for publicity. “When you’re claiming 400-600 producers for a film, you can’t say that I don’t care about Kashmir, just release that one picture (of the gay kiss)”, he said.
At the same time he reiterated that he has no issues being involved in an on-screen gay kiss itself. “For me it makes no difference whether I’m kissing Konkana Sen in 15 Park Avenue, or Mallika Sherawat or Arjun Mathur. They’re all strangers and kissing them in the full glare of lights in front of a camera is equally difficult.”
