Former Miss India and Bollywood Beauty Queen Celina Jaitley who is the LGBTI Community’s brand ambassador initiated the Gay Pride Walk on January 29 at August Kranti Maidan in South Mumbai. Jaitley found it wonderful to see a humungous turn out this year, and all the smiling people who walked for a cause. Sourendra Kumar Das meets her.

Shouts of ‘Azaadi’ were in the air, as the LGBTI community of Mumbai came out on the streets to claim their equal rights from society. There was a huge change that was evident from this year’s Annual Gay pride Walk in Mumbai, as many of the part-takers had taken off their masks and did not hesitate to carry their sexuality on their sleeves.
